Default Is the RP community farely large for GuildWars?

(OOC Hello, I am wanting to know the size of the RPing community on GuildWars, I know very little about the game other than it has a no monthly fee to play. Please post here if you have any information about RPing in Guildwars that may be different than other games I played like World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, and City of Villains.)

first off i like the game and am getting chapter 2 sight unseen.

having said that if you enjoyed the games you mentioned GW will probably not be to your liking.

no crafting, mining, smithing, gathering in the tavern etc.

level cap of only 20 that you are meant to reach fast so you can leave the game for a bit and everybody else isnt 30 levels above you

EDIT

there is little to none of traditional RP here.

but there are no campers
loot stealers
griefers jumping from ambush
lines for quests
etc.

consider it wow EXTRA LITE with more content coming in chapter 2

also the largest (so far) number in a mission/exploration group is 8 with the crowds in towns/outposts (open air gathering places)

i have heard this site may be a bit more RP oriented so they might have a better idea

Yup. I'll be getting Chpt two myself.
No, it's not even Remotely like WOW, except for the whole instancing concept.
I like the fact you can leave and people ain't 30 levels above you ^_-
RP in "Lyssa's Fiction" section may be Lite but it's beeing worked on.

Also: but there are no campers
loot stealers
griefers jumping from ambush
lines for quests
etc. Yay for instancing!

But for the OP, RP in here. Feel free. Join threads that are open or start an RP of your own.

To the OP: You may also want to check out gwrpa.org for roleplaying in Guild Wars.

If your in it for the Roleplaying then I would head back to one of the games that you previously played, like World of Warcraft. There are no RP districts ( only unofficially ) there isn't a sufficient number of emotes for someone who likes to RP like yourself. The variety in armor isn't very good so you will see yourself many times over. The world and towns are nothing compared to World of Warcraft, but I can't say for the rest of your games because I've never played them.

with my 7 months experience i would have to say that you'd be better off going somewhere else, unless your really desperate for a no monthly fee mmorpg.
